Personal and sensitive user data includes, but isn't limited to, personally identifiable information, financial and payment information, authentication information,phonebook, contacts,device location, SMS and call related data,inventory of other apps on the device, microphone, camera, and other sensitive device or usage data.Here is a list of information we may collect, where applicable:

We may also collect billing information, such as credit card number or ACH banking information. Under some circumstances, we may require some additional financial information to verify the accuracy of your name, address, and other information, as well as to bill you for the use of our Services.

For certain users, such as drivers, we may also collect certain information, such as a commercial service provider’s license number or other for authority.

From time-to-time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our Site or App. If you choose to participate, we will request certain information, including your email address from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have. Choice whether to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information and demographic information. We will not share any personal information you provide through a contest or survey with other third parties If we select to do so, we will give you ample and prior notice as well as choice.

When you are a user of the App or Site, we retain your data for as long as you remain an active user of your Account. Where there has not been any activity on your account for three years, we will contact you to check you still wish to retain your account with us. Where you decide to cancel your account or we do not hear further from you, your account will be de-activated, and your data will be deleted along with it. Where you have subscribed to receive marketing correspondence from us, we will keep your personal data for marketing purposes whilst your account remains active and for the period referred to above. This is subject to exercising your right to unsubscribe from receiving such correspondence at any time.

We may collect the data detailed above in two different ways:

When you voluntarily provide us with such data – meaning, for example, if you are a Carrier, Broker or Shipper and create an account through our Site, or if you are a visitor of our Site and you contact us.

Data collected automatically – meaning, if you are either using our app or visiting our site, we may use our SDK, Cookies, and other similar tracking technologies to gather information automatically, such as your IP address.

Our App collects information about your hardware and software, IP address, browser type and version, operating system, length of visit, referral/exiting sources, device identifiers such as Google Advertising ID, cookie identifiers, other pseudonymous identifiers, and information about the timing, frequency, and patterns of your usage.

We do not collect data from any third parties such as marketing companies or through publicly available sources like social networks.

ApexLoads uses a runtime permission request whenever available, prior to accessing data gated by Android Permissions. The app has a feature that shares or receives location information during runtime, only for a defined amount of time. The app will comprehensively disclose its use and obtain consent in accordance with the above requirements.

How We Use Your Personal Information:

We do not use your information collected or that you provide when you use the App for any reason other than to provide you with the best functionality and accuracy to determine logistics, routing, updates, and pricing. We may use said information for the following purposes:

To operate and improve the app and allow you to best utilize the App’s features.

To establish and maintain your account. If you choose to login to the App using your Social Media account.

To communicate with you about the App, including by sending you announcements, updates and security alerts, which we may send through a push notification, and responding to your requests, questions and feedback.

To provide technical support and maintenance of the App.

To perform statistical analysis about the use of the App (including the use of Google Analytics)

To send you marketing and promotional communications: We may send you marketing communications as permitted by law. You will have the ability to opt out of our marketing and promotional communications as described in the Opt out section below.

We will not use your information to display advertisements to you. Using the free version of the App will not prescribe you, reveal or submit your information to any advertising agencies or related entities. We only remit information if required for law enforcement purposes. There will not be any targeted advertising based on your use of the App or your activity elsewhere online.

Data Safety:

When it comes to how we handle personal and sensitive user data, ApexLoads limits the collection, use, and sharing of personal and sensitive user data acquired through the app to purposes directly related to providing and improving the features of the app which is: user authentication for login purposes, user anticipated functionality that is documented and promoted in the app's description on Google Play, and location determination to optimize best routes and improve routing. We do not share any personal and sensitive user data, including using our SDKs or other third-party services that may cause data to be transferred to a third party. The data remains securely within the ApexLoads domain. In addition, ApexLoads does not extend usage of personal and sensitive user data for servicing advertising.

Where you are a non-registered user or a registered user whose personal data has been uploaded to the App or website, we will store your data on our software for the benefit of your account for as long as required (we do not use your information for our own purposes). To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

Where you are a non-registered user or a registered user whose personal data has been uploaded to the App or website, we will store your data on our software for the benefit of your account for as long as required (we do not use your information for our own purposes). ApexLoads handles all personal and sensitive user data securely, including transmitting it using modern cryptography via HTTPS.

ApexLoads does not allow unauthorized publishing or disclosure of people's non-public contacts.

ApexLoads will never publicly disclose any personal and sensitive user data related to financial or payment activities or any government identification numbers.

ApexLoads does not sell personal and sensitive user data to any persons, agency, third-party, entity or organization.

ApexLoads retains user data to facilitate authentication, autofill where applicable and in calculations that enhance accuracy of pricing.

Objecting to Data Use:

The user can revoke consent and/or request deletion of the user’s data by sending an email to support@apexloads.com. Our team will respond within 2-5 business days post completion. Further, through your privacy settings, you can limit how your information is visible to other users of the services. Using your notification settings, you can limit the notifications you receive from us, and under your application settings, you can revoke the access of third-party applications that you previously connected to your ApexLoads account.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide goods and services to you. IF this is the case and it does happen, you will be made aware by correspondence through email, App notifications and alerts.

Use of Background Location

We are using Background Location in this app for tracking purpose.

When driver start his journey then background service will start and once he reached his destination then background location will be stopped.
